Hello and Welcome

Its Tanya here, the founder of I Am Woman which I feel my whole life journey has been preparing me for during my long path of self-discovery and healing. I have many learnings and beliefs in holistic well-being and carry my knowledge of the forces that contribute to disempower women and how to successfully overcome them. My mission is to create pathways to empowerment for ALL WOMEN!

I understand the pain and struggles of so many women because of my own lived experiences, and knowing that aspects of my childhood led me on a path of harmful relationships which resulted in becoming a single mother raising two children whilst battling the ‘systems’ and ‘exes’. During this time I felt powerless and voiceless, which is what motivates me to stand with all women who want to break free from the shackles of abuse, trauma, patriarchal influence and inequality.

In the last 20 years, I have been able to turn my life around. I went to university to advance my learnings and established myself professionally by supporting women & families to overcome challenges and hardships and co-founded a charity organisation called ‘Safe Woman Safe Family’ where we assisted hundreds of women to heal their trauma and transform their lives.

I Am Woman brings all of me; my pain along with my joy and knowing that my experiences can help others.

My learning and practice experiences combine the ability for me to hold space, whilst creating a safe vessel for women to share their darkness, pain and struggles. With compassion and respect, I can assist in providing a pathway to the connections required, as well as options of healing therapies and support groups. I can guide women to break free from the negative patterns and see them replaced with more positive ways of thinking that aids in changing every aspect of their lives.

I look forward to connecting with you and watching you flourish on this amazing life journey.
